- This is the final season of Johnson and Friends.
- A new opening sequence was created was for this season, similar to the original one, but it has been re-shot and it now includes Victoria in the title card and opening titles.
- The series aired first in the US in 1995, but it did not in Australia until 1997.
- Leighton Young takes over the costumer performing role of Victoria from Elizabeth Easther in this season.
- Starting with this season, Squeaky has a more mature and robotic voice, even though Sarah Boddy gave her a higher voice in the last season.
